This residential project showcased our extensive skill set and advanced technologies, particularly in delivering the structural steelwork integrated with feature timber installations by other teams.
Built on a complex slab geometry on a steep embankment, we utilized 3D LIDAR and robotic total stations to capture precise site measurements, quickly verify the as-built conditions, and effectively plan the installation prior to arriving with cranes and steel.
While care was taken in the slab and block build by others involved, there was always a risk of deviations from the design. However, for us, the exact construction accuracy is less critical. We simply need access to the area when it’s ready for verification. From that point, we can deliver a structure that works, regardless of the design extents, because the as-built conditions are key, and we can verify them swiftly.
